Carolina Outdoor Adventures Event Calendar

In order to attend CHOA's events you must first become a member. Members see all information related to the event including detailed directions to the event location, who is attending and a way to send an online message to the leader or anyone signed up.

THIS EVENT IS FOR ROCKCLIMBERS AND MEMBERS WITH PROVEN RAPPELLING EXPERIENCE AND ATC OR FIGURE 8 DEVICES GOOD SKILLS.

We will head to The Horse river Trail to set anchores and rapel down one or two water falls. One of them will be the 160 feet Rainbow falls.

You will need to provide ATC/FIGURE 8. Choa will provide ropes,harnesses and helmets if You do not have one.

Even though this is a Rockclimbing event, a hike around the area will be on hand. A limited amount of hikers can join us.
