Join us to explore Lake Jocasse. Kayak and all gear will be provided.
Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of South Carolina is Lake Jocassee is a wonderful experience for the scenic tourist as well the the wildlife adventurer. The crystal clear water that forms the 7,500 acre lake flows from several Appalachian rivers and streams making the lake a favorite for SCUBA divers as well as paddlers, explorers, tourist and fisherman. With 75 miles of beautiful shore line there is a photo opportunity waiting around every corner.
We will carpool from Charlotte to Lake Jocassee and set our campsite. We will spend all day Saturday kayak the beautiful lake Jocassee and explore the water falls along the way.

What to Bring: We will have to paddle to the camp site. Bring light camping gear that can be packed into the kayak. Additional food for Saturday night and Sunday morning if you don't like hot dogs.
