Landsfork Canal park ranger informed that the Spider Lilies flower have bloomed early this year and this weekend is the last opportunity for us to see them in full bloom. Date changed to this Saturday 6/6/2009. We must go now or we will lose the opportunity to see the Spider Lilies.

The Spider Lily Eco-Tour travels along Landsford Canal and allows participants to see and experience the magnificence of the endangered Rocky Shoals Spider Lilies that make their home in the middle of the Catawa River. The rare flowers enter peak blooming period for only one month (mid-May to mid-June). So don`t miss this wonderful experience.

Difficulty level is moderate with some part difficult due to rocky shoals and class I-II rapid. Some previous kayaking experienced is helpful.
