intermediate to expert Sailing, cookout and fireworks on Lake Norman!

The Lake Norman Yacht Club is looking for people to help crew boats for the 4th of July regatta. Afterwards, they will be having a cookout and live music as we will enjoy the fireworks on lake Norman! If you attended the discover sailing event earlier this year and had a good time then you should check this out! Even if you don’t want to sail, come hang out for the cook out and fireworks!

If you wish to sail please note, this event is a race and participants will be working the lines and actively sailing. You don’t have to be an expert but you need to have had some prior sailing experience. If you are not sure about your skill level but are still interested, email me or call me and we’ll figure out if this event is for you. SUNSCREEN is a must for this event if you are sailing and also bring LOTS OF WATER and anything else you might want to drink. You will also need to bring your own lunch. Remember your skipper and maybe bring some stuff to share.

The cost for the cookout will be $10 if you RSVP by Thrusday July 2nd and $15 after. There will be Burgers, Dogs, corn on the cob, cole slaw, desert and Drinks.
